Reviews and Testimonials
Beauford Grange - Bristol
“Carl has been working with my residents a Beaufort Grange for nearly two years. They respond very well to him and really enjoy his sessions. He has managed a level of response from some of our residents, some who we wouldn’t have thought possible. He helps them sing, laugh and brings back fond memories for them all with some of his song choices. We are very happy with both his group work and his one to one sessions, he’s even kind enough to serenade our residents at dinner once a month. Thank you Carl”- Callam Hodges-Gray. Bradbury House, Bristol.
"Carl started leading Music group here at Bradbury House after our previous group leader left. We were immediately impressed with the quality of the sessions that he leads. He was kind enough to initially offer a trial group so that we could see if he was the right fit, this session was so good and engaging for our service users that we chose to pay him on the day and agree for him to come for a weekly session. He is able to get our Service Users to engage with the session, even those who are non-verbal. Each session is a good balance of things that are different to keep the sessions fresh, but also keeping somethings intentionally the same as this works best for the Service Users with Autism.
On top of the high quality sessions, Carl is simply a very warm friendly man and always after feedback with an aim to always be improving. It is very easy to recommend Carl for Music groups/sessions, particularly in a Care Home environment."

Carl and his lovely assistant Larisa came for the music therapy session at Hazelwood Gardens Nursing home. It was an enjoyable and engaging session. There was a lot of positive talk about music choices, the more reluctant residents were engaged by Larisa and made the session for them far more enjoyable. All residents that participated appeared happy with large smiles on their faces and enthusiastically play the musical instruments along with Carl. They loved the song they made together also loved the storytelling session. The session overall was brilliant and would recommend Carl to other residential settings.
